If you need to restrict portions of content ( button, links, photos, etc ) you can do it easy with Restrict Content visual element in Visual Composer
- Go to Wp-admin -> Pages -> Your desired page
- Select Backend Editor
- Search / Look for restrict content element
- Select User Type Logged in user or Guest user
