How to edit profile page using visual composer ?

I want to change the profile page look using Visual composer. When clicked on edit using visual composer, it shows the page to be loading visual composer but never loads.
I am using version 1.6. Please advise on how to edit profile page.

First, please update the theme to the 2.0 version. Second, please send me a link to a page you want to modify and explain what modifications you want to do.

Hi,

I have updated the theme. Now I do get the avatar in the menu bar.
So when I click on that avatar – it displays my account page. When I hover over the google tab – it says extended profile.
Now, I want to edit this profile : the look and feel of this page.
– Add a sidebar
– Remove active 1 minute ago thing
– Remove show less/ show more thing – just show less is fine.
– Change the icons – Get another forum link for that.

Is there an easier way to change this page – like editing using visual composer?

Like most Buddypress pages, they are not editable using the page editor in WP Admin. They are all controlled by template files. You should search this forum. Your questions have been asked and answered in other topics.

Sidebar: Make sure you have a sidebar layout selected in Theme Options -> BuddyPress -> Member Profile Layout. It will use the main sidebar.

On the profile page – how do I remove the next member icon on the right. I followed the css instructions on this topic, but didn’t work. Could you please help or redirect to a post which discusses this.
